Willa (Student of the 2017 Trainer’s Challenge)

Willa is a beautiful chestnut mare who was foaled around 2002 and stands approximately 15.2hh. We believe her dam is Korea Norsk, a registered National Showhorse, but we don’t know who her sire was. Willa and Korea Norsk came in together during a July 2016 Crow Wing County humane case in which they were rescued from flood waters. Willa is not broke to ride and will be competing in our 2017 Trainer’s Challenge of the Unwanted Horse with trainer Beth Ash.  Horses competing in the Trainer’s Challenge are offered for adoption by silent auction to pre-qualified bidders/adopters on the day of the event (Sept. 16th, 2017). For more information on prequalifying to bid and adopt please see Adopting a Trainer’s Challenge Horse.
