Belle is a beautiful 15.1hh 2004 bay off-the-track thoroughbred mare (Jockey Club name Lucky Bullet). She was retired from racing at the age of 4. She was then schooled over fences up to 3′. Unfortunately she became cast in her stall several years ago and ended up with a broken jaw. She was ridden afterwards but she did develop some rearing issues (possibly due to pain) so was given a couple of years off. We took Belle in July of 2017. She just recently (April 2018) had another dental exam and float and the vet felt she was completely healed and would be able to go back into work with no problem. She shows absolutely no pain issues or issues with eating. She is an extremely sweet and personable mare and has good ground manners. We would consider her green broke at this time and she needs to go back into training with an experienced rider/trainer. She could also make a very good companion horse.
