Draco (In Rehabilitation Program)

Draco is a 1996 black gelding who stands approximately 15.2hh. We aren’t sure of his breeding but he may have some Morgan in him. He was adopted many years ago but his adopter has now had to return him.  We had radiographs done on Draco’s front leg to determine the cause of an ongoing lameness issue. Sadly he has been diagnosed with ringbone and a bone spur. He is currently doing well on pain meds and his quality of life is still good. His foster home is monitoring his condition to make sure he is in no discomfort. Due to Draco’s age and condition, he is not available for adoption but will remain in his foster home.
