Cheyenne is nice mare in her early 20’s who came to MHARF in 2018 at request of social services because her elderly owner could no longer care for her. She is blind in one eye. Cheyenne is not broke to ride and we feel it would be best at her age to find a home where she can be a companion horse. However, Cheyenne does not have any soundness or health issues that would keep her from being a riding horse, so an adopter could potentially start her under saddle as long as they kept any possible limitations due to her age in mind.
