August (Currently in Rehab)

August is a thoroughbred gelding (foaled in 2020, currently standing 15.2hh) who came to MHARF in an August 2024 humane case. He spent time in-patient at Anoka Equine Veterinary Services receiving treatment and intake care. He has now been released and is currently in rehab and on a re-feeding program. August spends most of his time on stall rest. He loves attention and being groomed. He gets to go out periodically for fresh air and to stretch his legs, but he still tires easily.
