Jake (Currently in Rehab)

This handsome senior gentleman is named Jake. Jake came to us from a September 2024 Cass County humane case (along with 21 chickens and a turkey. There were also dogs and cats on the property and they were taken in by another organization). Jake is approximately 25 years old and has been lone horse for several years. He was very excited to be around other horses again! Jake’s vision seems to be limited, but we don’t know yet to what degree. He is a bit nervous with all of the changes, but responds very well to soft speech and reassurance. He has now had his vaccinations and his dental work. His teeth are in excellent shape for his age. He will be seeing the farrier this week
