Rose is a miniature donkey who was born in mid-June 2020. She came to MHARF along with her mother Ida from a June 2020 Brown County owner surrender case. Rose will be available for adoption after she is weaned in late 2020 or early 2021.

Ida is a miniature donkey who came to MHARF from a June 2020 owner surrender case in Brown County. She had a filly at her side who had been born earlier in the month. Ida was needing some rehab hoof care at intake and was treated for lice and parasites. She will be available for adoption after her filly Rose has been weaned in late 2020/early 2021.

Irene is a 2003 standard donkey jennet who came to MHARF during a June 2017 Pine County humane case. This case involved 6 other donkeys, all of whom had not had any veterinary or farrier care for many years.  Because of this neglect, several had hooves so long they could barely walk. Irene was one of those in the worst condition and did have very long and misshapen hooves that have required specialized farrier care. She also has very few remaining upper teeth and requires a special diet. She is currently still in our rehab program.
