Every horse deserves a little girl to love and here is Rio (Mighty CluCountry) with his! Quite a difference from his intake a year ago!

We received this photo of Amari from her adopter along with this message: “Amari has been the absolute best horse and we are all head over heels in love with her! Definitely a ‘once in a lifetime” horse'”. Thanks so much to Sara! (And we know there will be comments about the kids not wearing helmets. We have been assured there was a side-walker holding on to the kids who ducked out of the way of the photo!)
Here are some pics of beautiful MHARF alum Phoebe (formerly known as Prancer) from her adopter Sue. Sue calls her “my beautiful (and funny, opinionated, sensitive & sweet :)) girl.” Phoebe originally came to MHARF as part of a 2009 humane/abandonment case. She was pregnant and left in northern WI with no food, water or shelter (we just recently posted photos of Wren and Maya, both from that same humane case). Phoebe came in January and foaled in February (a colt named Manidu who was adopted at weaning time). Phoebe (then known as Prancer) went on to compete in the 2010 Trainers’ Challenge with Natalie Payne. Thank you Sue for the wonderful photos!

It’s been 2 months since Annie brought this handsome Haflinger home. Not a day has gone by that she hasn’t spent time with him –
even when it was freezing cold & snowy! They have come a long way since day 1 & we are excited to see what the future holds for them both. Just wanted you to know that he is very happy & healthy in his new home.
Thanks to everyone at MHARF for helping to make this happen.
Best wishes – Jill

Had to share the most recent photo of Maya from this weekend! The girl that is leasing her is having a BLAST & has been winning consistently in the pony jumpers! This past weekend, Maya took home Grand Champion at Junior Olympics in New York! Next, we have a few more shows and then Pony Finals!–Anna

Annie is turning into such a wonderful horse! Yesterday, for the first time, we rode up in the mountains behind the LaCense ranch where she bucked me off last fall. She loves being out in the open, climbing mountains, and crawling over rocks. She is a completely different horse than she was in June when we put the first ride on her. She comes right up to me when I call her to look for some loves.
