Reddy is a nice 15.2hh sorrel quarter horse gelding (foaled in approximately 2005) who originally came to MHARF because his elderly owner could no longer care for him. He was adopted but his adopter would like us to find him a new home where he will get all of the attention he deserves! Reddy is a nice horse who is broke to ride. This is what his previous adopter says about him “Reddy is sweet and gentle to be around, and not afraid of much on the trail or in the pasture. Tractors and 4 wheelers don’t even make him blink! He is lower in the pecking order of the herd and tends to keep to himself a bit. He is easy to work with for vet and farrier and loads like a champ. Up to date on shots, farrier and had teeth floated in spring 2019. He is well broke and shines on the trails, but does fine in the arena as well. He prefers to ride out with a group, but will go on his own when asked.” Reddy is currently in refresher training with Marirose Berner of MJB Horse Training and doing very well.
Update: Reddy is still experiencing an ongoing issue with what appears to be stringhalt–so we are continuing to evaluate him with the help of the vet and farrier. For now he has been moved to our rehab program.
