Cactus Katie (Katie has been ADOPTED!)

Cactus Katie is a bay pinto mare who was foaled around 2007 and stands approximately 14.2hh. She came in in May of 2017 from an Isanti County humane case. Katie was in foal at intake and she gave birth to a healthy colt (on 06/16/17) who we named Cactus Jack. Jack has now been weaned and Katie is ready to find a new home. She was not broke to ride so was placed with trainers Savannah Deutsch and Gina Fiorentino in for our 2019 Trainer’s Challenge. She spent the spring and summer in training and competed successfully in the Challenge on Sept. 7th. Katie was not adopted after the Challenge and she is now continuing her training with Anna Hill. Katie is an energetic mare and has a lot of go! She likes to get out and move on the trail. She is not so thrilled with arena work. She is suitable at this time for an intermediate rider working with a trainer or an advanced rider.
