Kristoff (Kristoff has been Adopted!)
Kristoff has been adopted!
Kristoff is a grade quarter horse gelding who was foaled in approximately 2016 and who stands approximately 14.1hh. He is a shelter to shelter transfer from Pony Tales Rescue in Wisconsin and originally from a 2019 Carlton County, MN, humane case. Kristoff was not broke to ride when he came in and he was placed with trainer Jadyn Mossengren in our 2020 Trainer’s Challenge. He spent the spring and summer in training with Jadyn and they competed in the Trainer’s Challenge in September, taking home the Reserve Championship! (You can see Kristoff’s progress throughout his training on his Facebook Page!)
Kristoff was adopted but it turned out not to be the right placement so he has returned to MHARF. He is now back in training with Sarah Lemke of Step Up Horsemanship. Kristoff has a lot of really good training (as you can see by the photos!). However, he was gelded late and does tend to be dominant with other horses. He is currently in a small mixed herd and is now doing well–but this is something that any potential adopter should keep in mind.
