Katie (Adopted)

This adorable girl is Katie, a mini mare who came to MHARF last month as an owner surrender. Katie is approximately 15 years old and she stands 39″ tall. She has been having some adventures in her foster home over the past few weeks, including getting all dressed up for a 4H holiday event where she was fantastic! Thank you so much to Sarah and her helpers forgetting to know Katie so we can provide the most accurate info to potential adopters.

“Katie is an absolutely lovely little mare, in both looks and personality! She’s very gentle and eager to please. Picks up feet, stands for vet/farrier, leads, loads, and stands tied like a saint. She leads beautifully. This little mare is very soft. Walk, trot, halt, back, and side passes both directions. She’s taking to obstacles and jumping easily! Katie is broke to drive and has more go than whoa in harness. This gal likes to trot off. She’s quiet, gentle and flourishes with a light hand and lots of praise. If I were looking for another 4H mini to lease to kids, I’d snatch this mare right up!”
