This is Gretzki and Chris (on the right). You may remember Gretzki from the 2012 Trainer’s Challenge.
He was trained by Chris and then adopted by this very talented young man!
We were lucky enough to have Chris back in the 2013 Challenge training Gretski’s mother, Ramona, who has also been adopted. Chris will again be participating in the Challenge for 2016!
Drew played matchmaker over four years ago when she suggested Styx for my daughter Emily.
Emily was 12 at the time and a brand new rider, and “Sticky” has always taken such great care of her. They have won many fun show events together and he is great on trail rides. He is like a big dog and does a little hop/skip and lopes to us when we call his name.
He has provided Emily with some much needed stress relief during her teenage years.
Just thought you might like to know how Shallah is settling in after his first week! We both came home without incident, and while our “goon squad” raced and bucked around in the pasture, Shallah looked at his new digs and promptly got down to the business of grazing, ignoring the squealing, bucking and farting happening in the pen next door.
He was soon introduced to his new mate, Aslan, and that’s when the skies opened up and rained for something like 40 days and 40 nights.
I cannot believe it has been a year already since we adopted Reba, now Vegas. I wanted to send you some recent pictures to let you know how she is doing.
We just adore her! her personality and charm shine through everyday. As you can see from this second photo, she has a roan buddy we keep with her, and honestly some days they are hard to tell apart!
We received the photo on the right, along with a brief note that Perfect is amazing, and is doing very well. 
After seeing the photo, we couldn’t agree more.
Congrats to Perfect on finding her very own BFF!
