Sly is a nice palomino gelding who originally came to MHARF during a humane case in 2019. He stands 14.2hh and was foaled in approximately 1997. Sly was adopted as a companion for another horse but has now come back to MHARF after the sad loss of his companion. He is a very sweet old gelding. Mellow and passive. He just had dental work done (one tooth pulled) but will need a recheck in 6 months. We never assessed him for training level before he was adopted the first time because he was being adopted as a companion. He is a steady, quiet guy and is sound. At his age, we prefer to just find him home as a buddy to another horse but he could possibly be a light riding horse. He is certainly one who can benefit from pasture grass.
