Twizzler (Update: Twizzler has been adopted!)

Twizzler is a 14.2hh 2005 pinto gelding who originally came to MHARF several years ago in a humane case. He was adopted out but is now looking for a new home because his current rider has grown and needs a taller horse. Twizzler (formerly known as Ian) is a very nice horse and would be suitable for a confident advanced beginner on up. He has some dressage experience and has done well. He has also done some jumping but does not seem to enjoy it.

Double the Hope!

Thank you to Joyce M. for this update!
“Both of my wonderful Hopes gave pony rides at the Western Fest rodeo in Granite Falls and did great. They gave many, many rides and put smiles on lots of kids faces. Both horses have been on several trail rides and we are looking forward to going trail riding in the Black Hills in August. Little Hope (adopted last fall) is now a lesson horse, she stays calm and is very forgiving.

Marigold and Sarah: a perfect match!

Here is a well matched pair:  Marigold and Sarah. Marigold came to MHARF during a December 2015 Hubbard County humane/abandonment case. She competed in the 2016 Trainer’s Challenge with trainer Lauren Novak and was adopted by Sarah and her family that day. Sarah’s mom says, “Sarah loves her so much! They have done a few schooling shows together and have done clinics/lessons with Rochelle Wrisky, Julie Christie, Sasha Kohlhase and Jane Braddock.”
Thanks so much to the Carlson family for this update.

Stormin’ Norman!

Thank you to Emily M. for this wonderful update on Norman!

“My name is Emily and I am Norman’s owner/rider. I thought I would contact you to give you an update on how Norman is doing. Norman has been an absolute blessing. He is a complete different horse from when I met him back in November of 2016. He is such a kind boy with a heart that wants to please. He has grown so much with his training in only 4 months of being with me.
