Liberty

Liberty is a 13.3hh bay pinto mare with one blue eye. She was foaled in approximately 2006 and came to MHARF from the 2013 Crow Wing County humane case along with her filly Wisp.  Liberty competed successfully in the 2014 Trainers’ Challenge. She then spent the summer of 2016 in training with Maddie Kanda.

Butterbean

Here’s a great opportunity for someone looking to adopt a FANTASTIC horse. Butterbean has been returned to MHARF due to a tragedy in her adoptive family. Her original adopter did an amazing job with her. She is a 2005 Percheron cross who stands approximately 16.2hh. She has a wonderful temperament, is broke to ride and drive (should be ridden with bitless bridle or hackamore). She is current on all vet work, including dental,

Agatha (update: Agatha has been adopted!)

(Update: Agatha has been adopted!) Agatha is a 13.3hh bay mare who came in during a May 2016 Mahnomen County abandonment/neglect case. She is approximately 16-17 years old. Agatha and the other horses from this case had been running free for quite a while and had gotten used to avoiding handling–so they were all a bit pushy and headstrong. However, she’s a nice horse who has obviously had some handling in the past and she has now learned some very good ground manners.
