Tag (Adopted)

Update: 10/14/23: Tag has now been gelded and will soon be ready for adoption.

Tag is a yearling bay roan large pony colt. He is one of two young horses we were able to purchase from a Carlton County property in August 2023 (before a warrant was served in September 2023 which allowed the remaining horses to be removed). Tag has been getting a lot of handling and he is a friendly colt.

Skittles (Currently in Rehab)


Update 03/21/24: Skittle gave birth to Pixie Stix,  a healthy palomino filly on 03/20/24. Both mare and foal will remain in our rehab program until Pixie is old enough to be weaned this fall.

Update 10/20/23: Skittles (who the vet estimates was foaled in 2020) has been confirmed pregnant by blood test through UC Davis. She will remain in our rehab program until after she foals and her foal is weaned.

Tally

Tally is a young chestnut mare (foaled in approximately 2020) who originally came to MHARF from a September 2023 Carlton County humane case. She had been in a herd with stallions but has been confirmed to NOT be in-foal by bloodwork sent to UC Davis at intake time. Tally had no previous handling when she came to us, but thanks to the kind and patient training she has been receiving at HH Stables,

Fancy (Currently in Rehab)

Fancy is a chestnut mare who came to MHARF in a September 2023 Carlton County humane case. She has had her intake veterinary work done and her date of birth is estimated as 2013. She has been confirmed in-foal and is due spring of 2024. She is currently receiving great care at HH Stables. She will remain in our rehab program until after she foals and her foal is then weaned.

Carly

Carly is a 2023 chestnut filly (daughter of Etta) who came to MHARF in a September 2023 Carlton County humane case. She is now weaned, has had all of her intake veterinary care, and ready to find a new adoptive home!
