Aspen May
Aspen May is a miniature filly who was born in May 2025. Her mother, Kepri, and her sire, Lt. Dan had originally come to us from a case in January of that year. Aspen May has now been weaned and is available for adoption. Here is what her foster home has to say about her:
She is everything you would expect from a mini foal –
Val (adopted)
Val is a palomino mare who originally came to MHARF in a November 2020 Brown County humane case. She was very thin at intake. Val was adopted by her foster home June 2025.
Merlin (adopted)

Merlin is a pony mule gelding who came to MHARF as an owner surrender in April 2025.

We love receiving updates to post on previously adopted horses! This one is from Joyce. Her horse, Hope2 (yes, she has another horse named Hope, also adopted from MHARF:) was originally trained for us by Marirose Berner of Rock & Rose Horsemanship, LLC.
“This picture is of my grand daughter Bridget giving Hope 2 a big hug on Easter! Hope 2 was ridden by several people and never flinched even with 4-wheelers and side by sides making lots of noise around her.
