Thank you to Steve and Kathy for this photo of recently adopted Amadeus (now called Roadie) in his great new home! He’s the pinto in the middle. The other pinto is MHARF alum Boones Bandito (now called Belle) adopted 2 years ago. Steve reports the horses are getting along really well!

Mr. Jerry is an off-the-track thoroughbred gelding who was released to MHARF in March 2020 from an estate of an owner who could sadly no longer care for him. He stands 16.2hh and was foaled in approximately 2012. Mr Jerry has been having some issues with back soreness and with soft soles in his front hooves. This is due to having spent several years in a stall, which was especially hard on him at his large size.
Freckles is a registered quarter horse mare (LM Quincy Freckles, DOB 04/29/97) who came to MHARF as an owner surrender because her owner could no longer keep her (along with her companions, Maggie and Quinn, both originally adopted from MHARF). Freckles stands 14.3 hh. She is a nice mare but is not broke to ride.
