GusGus is a pony cross gelding who was foaled in 2017. He came to MHARF as an owner surrender. GusGus has had little past handling and has been placed with trainer Sarah Lemke in our 2020 Promise of the Future in-hand competition for young horses. On 09/05/20 Sarah and GusGus took home the Promise of the Future Grand Championship, winning both the Halter Class and the trail/Obstacle Class!

Jet is a miniature horse who came to MHARF as an owner surrender. He was a cryptorchid stud (undescended testicle) so was scheduled for castration surgery at Anoka Equine Veterinary Services. He will then require stall rest. (Lucky Jet already has an adoption pending with his foster home!)
Axel is a Morgan x draft gelding who was foaled in approximately 2007. He stands 16hh. He came to MHARF as a shelter to shelter transfer form Pony Tales Rescue in Wisconsin. Axel is not broke to ride and has been placed with trainers Brenton and Andrine Kleinstick for our 2020 Trainer’s Challenge. He will spend the spring and summer in training and will be available for adoption at the event in September.
Kristoff has been adopted!
Kristoff is a grade quarter horse gelding who was foaled in approximately 2016 and who stands approximately 14.1hh. He is a shelter to shelter transfer from Pony Tales Rescue in Wisconsin and originally from a 2019 Carlton County, MN, humane case. Kristoff was not broke to ride when he came in and he was placed with trainer Jadyn Mossengren in our 2020 Trainer’s Challenge.
