Thank you to Stephanie and her daughter Emmy for this update on GusGus and for giving him a great home! They adopted this pretty pony cross gelding in 2020 (after he and his trainer Sarah Helms of Step Up Horsemanship won our 2020 Promise of the Future training competition).

“Emmy has loved horses her whole little life. At the lucky age of 7, she adopted GusGus in September 2020.
He has been a gem since day one; he loves to carry his ball around, be groomed, and ridden by Emmy. These two have taught each other so much. We look forward to so many years with him as a part of our family.”

Everyone at MHARF wishes to extend our sympathy to Julie on the loss of her beloved Gambler (Midnight Gamble), adopted from us in 2008. He was a lucky boy to get such a great home with Julie. He was as loved as a horse can be.

“Yesterday I said goodbye to my sweet Gambler who I adopted from you. He would have been 25 this August. I had a wonderful time with him. Of the 2 horses I owned before him and the 4th during some time with him, as my 3rd he has always been my favorite. Thanks for making this possible for him and for me.” –Julie

Tater Chip is doing well in his new family! Thank you to Lynnde for this update on Tater and their other adopted MHARF pony, Katya:
“Tater and Katya are acing their new assignments. We anticipate putting on many miles like this out on the trails. The transition to becoming a kids’ pony is going very smoothly for Tater. I just can’t say enough good things about the good handling and ground manners he received in his MHARF foster home all these years (thank you, Jenny Nelson!). Tater is trusting and loves all of the activity and attention of his barn full of kids and having his very own boy.”

Thank you to Lynnde and family–we couldn’t be happier for Tater and Katya!
