Cinco is a pinto gelding who was foaled in approximately 2011 and stands approximately 14.3hh. He came to MHARF as the only survivor from a February 2020 Kanabec County humane case. Cinco is doing very well and has now gained enough weight to have some light refresher training with Anna Hill (see video below). Cinco is a gaited horse.
Alexa is a 2017 dark bay thoroughbred mare who came to MHARF in February 2020. She was surrendered by an owner who had recently purchased her but did not have the resources to give her the care she needed. She had her intake veterinary work and when she was ready she was placed with trainer Alyssa Bjorklund in our 2020 Trainer’s Challenge. She spent the spring and summer in training with Alyssa and successfully competed in the event in September.

Thank you so much to Bug’s adoptive family for the update on the wonderful little mustang mare:
Bug has been a huge part of our family since we adopted her nearly 2 1/2 years ago. She in intuitive and gentle with each of our four children’s abilities-from walking on a lead line with our youngest to a working partnership with her main rider who is 12 years old. Bug is a member of our family and we were blessed with the opportunity to adopt her….Bug has taught us patience,
