Felix (Felix has been Adopted!)

Update 01/27/20: Felix has been adopted!

Felix is a very nice palomino gelding who stands approximately 15.2hh and was foaled around 2005. He came to MHARF in late December of 2019 because his previous owner (who had just recently acquired him) could not care for him. Felix is very well broke to ride and would make an excellent trail horse. He is currently with trainer Anna Hill for refresher work (see video below!)

Ketch has been Adopted!

Ketch is a 2019 grulla gelding who came to MHARF in November 2019 from a Carlton County humane case as a malnourished stud colt (along with his mother Morsa.) Ketch is now healthy, gelded, and ready to find a new home!

Morsa

Morsa is a grulla mare who came to MHARF in November 2019 from an ongoing Carlton County humane case. She has her current colt Ketch at her side and we believe she is also the mother of Skip who came to us from the same case earlier in the year.  Morsa is approximately 20 years old. She has a weak, distended abdominal wall due to having had many foals and needs to be in a situation where she will be safe from kicks from other horses and other trauma.

Amadeus is a very nice paint x thoroughbred gelding who was foaled in 2007 and stands 16hh+. He came to MHARF recently as an owner surrender due to a family emergency.  Amadeus is green broke and is currently with trainer Shaylor Alley for an assessment and continuing training.
