Gretzki (Update: Gretzki has been adopted!)

Gretski is a 2009 mustang smokey black/ buckskin gelding who stands approximately 14.3 hh.  He originally came to MHARF in a humane case with his mother Ramona. He competed in our 2012  Trainer’s Challenge with trainer Chris Walz. He was adopted by Chris after the Challenge but sadly Chris can no longer keep him because of relocation. Stormy (Brown County Mare #5)

This chestnut mare (her foster home has named her “Stormy”) came to us from a late-April 2018 Brown County humane case. Her estimated age is late teens to early 20’s She is currently in rehabilitation and is gaining some much needed weight. She has been preg-checked and she is not in foal. We have no certain information on her training level at this time and will not be doing an assessment until she is physically ready.

Siskowit Golden Lady (Lady has been adopted!)

 


Lady has been ADOPTED

This palomino mare came to us from a late-April 2018 Brown County humane case. DNA testing through the American Morgan Horse Association has shown that she is Siskowit Golden Lady and was foaled in 2000.  Lady spent the summer in our rehabilitation program.  She required extensive dental work due to many years of having no dental care. She has been preg-checked and is not in foal.

Delia (Student of the 2019 Trainer’s Challenge)

Delia has been ADOPTED!

This chestnut mare came to us from a late-April 2018 Brown County humane case. Her estimated date of birth is 2010 and she stands approximately 14.2hh. We have DNA confirmation from the Canadian Morgan Horse Association (thank you to the American Morgan Horse Association for their assistance on this!) that she is a purebred Morgan. Her sire is  Sable Knight Kursier and her dam is Krila’s Eagle Feather.

Jemma: (Jemma has been Adopted!)

 

Jemma is a 14.2hh chestnut  Morgan x quarter horse mare who came to us from a late-April 2018 Brown County humane case. Her estimated date of birth is approximately 2013-2014. She was underweight at intake and badly in need of veterinary care.  Jemma was not broke to ride at intake time so she was placed with trainer Nate Stener for our 2019 Trainer’s Challenge. She spent the spring and summer in training and competed in the Challenge on Sept.
