Figaro (Figaro has been ADOPTED!)

Figaro is a chestnut American Saddlebred x Arabian cross gelding who was foaled on 05/23/18. His mother, Bravada, came in pregnant during a December 2017 case. Figaro is a beautiful, energetic, and athletic young gelding who would love to find a new home! Figaro was been placed with trainer Abbie Schramm in our 2020 Promise of the Future In-Hand training competition for young horses. He will spent the spring and summer in training with Abbie learning all of the things a young horse needs to be a good citizen on the ground.

Thank you to Ellana for this nice message and update on Zameel! ” I adopted a horse from you guys almost 10 years ago. His name is Zameel. I can’t thank you guys enough for what you do and I can’t thank you enough for my horse. He has changed my life and he has the most wonderful personality. He loves running out to the pasture and playing with other horses. Thank you guys so much for the horse I love so much.”

Charlie: Update: Charlie has been Adopted!

Charlie is Belgian Draft gelding who was foaled in approximately 2005 and stands approximately 17.3hh. He came to MHARF in a May 2018 Brown County humane case. Charlie had been badly neglected and is in need of good nutrition, farrier care, and veterinary care. He is now receiving all three! We will have more info on Charlie soon.

Our hearts go out to Cindy and her family. They just had to say good bye their MHARF alum Lacy. This pretty mare was over 30 years old! Thank you to Cindy and family for giving her such a wonderful home for so many years! Cindy says she is “going to miss her soft nicker every time I approach the paddock. She had so much personality!”
