Dawson (Adopted)
Dawson is a 2002 grade Arabian gelding standing 14 – 14.1 hands. He originally came to MHARF from a December 2017 humane case. He was adopted in April 2018 and has thrived since then. Sadly, his original adopter can no longer keep this much-loved horse and has asked us to help him find a good new home.
Information from previous adopter:
Dawson is a sweet, gentle boy who loves people,
Atticus
Atticus (Pine County Donkey #7) is a gelded 2010 standard donkey jack who came to MHARF during a June 2017 Pine County humane case. This case involved 6 other donkeys, all of whom had not had any veterinary or farrier care for many years. Because of this neglect, several had hooves so long they could barely walk. Being the youngest of the herd, Atticus wasn’t in quite such dire condition. However, he did have severely misshapen hooves and has required specialized farrier care.

Flicker (Flicker has been Adopted!)
Flicker is a chestnut grade American Saddlebred colt who was foaled in early 2017 (approximately). He came to MHARF during a December 2017 case. He was very malnourished at intake and infested with internal parasites and lice. He also had issues with misshapen front feet that are required specialized farrier care and are now coming around very nicely. As you can see from the newer photos (photo credit: Sydney Jordan Photography), Flicker has gained quite a bit of weight and is filling out well.
