Roger has been adopted!
Roger is a 2018 appaloosa miniature horse who came to MHARF in a June 2020 Brown County owner surrender case. Roger was a stud at intake but has now been gelded and is ready to find a new home! He currently stands 28.5″ high.
Update August 2020: Cinnamon has been adopted!
Cinnamon is a chestnut miniature mare who came to MHARF from a June 2020 Brown County Owner Surrender case. Cinnamon is halter broke but has not been handled that much in the past, something that her foster home is working on. She is approximately 4 years old and stands just 31″ high! Cinnamon was turned out with a mini stallion before she came to us and a pregnancy check on 07/10/20 just confirmed that she is in foal. She is due in early spring of 2021.
Update: Norah has been Adopted!
Norah is a black 2018 miniature mare who came to MHARF from a June 2020 Brown County Owner Surrender case. She is currently in foster care where she is being halter broke and learning to stand for the vet and farrier care.
Rebel is a 14.3hh pinto gelding who was foaled in 1998. He was originally adopted from MHARF but his adopter can sadly no longer keep him and he is looking for a new home as a companion horse only. Rebel tore a suspensory tendon in 2009 which then calcified. The vet has determined he is not in pain but he should not be ridden due to this chronic lameness issue. Because he is not in pain, he can have a very comfortable life as a companion horse/pasture pet.
Update: Ruby has been ADOPTED!
Ruby is a 14hh red roan registered quarter horse mare who was foaled in 1995. She is very well broke to ride but because of her age and size requires a youth or very small adult rider.
