“We love everything about this horse…”

We recently received this wonderful update on Harley from Charlotte and Braylan who adopted him in January 2021. (You may remember Harley from our 2020 Trainer’s Challenge. At that time he was know as Kristoff and he and his trainer Jadyn Mossengren were the reserve champs.)

“Harley is loving life, his people, and his best bud Benny ❤️ He continues to learn new things under saddle and is progressing nicely. He surprises us with how quickly he catches on.  » Read more about: “We love everything about this horse…”  »

Cyndy reports that he is doing well and that he and her mini mare share a paddock and are getting to know each other. The family also enjoys taking them out on walks (when it isn’t raining):

“He’s very sweet and everyone here is in love already.  » Read more about: “Thank you so much for letting us add this sweetheart to out family.”  »

Kestrel

Kestrel is a grade Arabian gelding who came to MHARF in a late November 2023 Kanabec County humane case. He was foaled in approximately 2018. He was quite thin at intake and was placed in our rehab program to gain some much needed weight. He’s a nice horse who is curious and friendly, but he has not had a lot of handling in the past.  In April 2024 Kestrel went to a trainer for a training assessment,
