Maya (Adopted)

Maya is a bay roan mare came to MHARF during a recent March 2022 Pine County humane case. She is a senior mare, aged possibly in late 20’s to 30’s. We don’t normally adopt a horse out until it has been through our rehab program; however, when given the opportunity to adopt Maya out to a new home with the experience necessary to care for her during the refeeding and rehab process,

Cap (Adopted)

Cap is a bay grade quarter horse gelding came to MHARF during a recent March 2022 Pine County humane case. He was foaled in approximately 2012. He has now gone to trainer Marirose Berner of MJB Horse Training to begin his training assessment. However, she is starting slowly with him because he still needs to put on weight at this time. He has a great temperament and good ground manners.

Clark

Clark is a paint cross gelding who was foaled in 2020. He came to MHARF as a stud colt in a 2022 Pine County humane case. After he was gelded and brought up to date on all of his intake vet work he was placed in a foster home where he had a good amount of ground work done. He was then transferred to another foster home to be started under saddle (see all of those details below).

Lex (Companion Home Only)

Lex is a paint gelding who came to MHARF during a March 2022 Pine County humane case. He is approximately 15 to 16 years old. Lex is broke to ride but has been diagnosed w/DSLD (Degenerative Suspensory Ligament Disease) and even though it is a mild case, he is suitable as a companion horse only.
