Thought I’d share a pic of myself and Zameel (formerly known as Fareed, but he was/always will be Zameel to me.) I formed such a strong bond with him back in 2010, as we prepared for the Challenge, and always felt like he was one of my soul-horses. After 5 years apart, w…e were able to pick up right where we’d left off…like re-connecting with an old friend. We understand each other so well, and I’m elated to have him back in my life. He seems happy to be back home (he’s completely BFFs with my mare, Dolly, who was his young pal back in 2010.) I think this is where he was meant to be!” -Beth Ash

In June of 2010, I adopted a horse from you by the name of Slender James (aka Slim). Because of the situation, his breeding was unavailable. I sent some hair samples to TX A&M to determine his breeding & this is what came back. -Veronica

5 years ago I adopted a quarter horse gelding named Martin from you and tonight he made me so proud! We’ve got a training harness for sale and I decided to put it on Martin for good pictures and he took it like a champ! None of it phased him! He is definitely a diamond in the rough! ❤

I write this with an extremely heavy heart. Ali Bayzar, 22, was laid to rest March 5th, 2016. His heart was failing and he was tired. I kissed him goodbye as I held his muzzle in my arms. A piece of me went with him in that moment. I had a bond with Ali that can never be replaced. He taught me so much about myself and life. He was a true ambassador for rescues and for the Arabian breed. He made friends everywhere he went. He was beautiful inside and out. I am beyond blessed to have shared 7 years with this incredible horse and to share his story with so many. Thank you for rescuing these incredible animals and for choosing me as Ali’s person. It was an honor and a blessing
