Swing (Adopted)

Swing is a yearling chestnut colt. He is one of two young horses we were able to purchase from a Carlton County property in August 2023 (before a warrant was served in September 2023 which allowed the remaining horses to be removed). Swing has been getting a lot of handling and he is a friendly colt.  He is halter broke and he is catching up well in his growth and weight gain.

Tally

Tally is a young chestnut mare (foaled in approximately 2020) who originally came to MHARF from a September 2023 Carlton County humane case. She had been in a herd with stallions but has been confirmed to NOT be in-foal by bloodwork sent to UC Davis at intake time. Tally had no previous handling when she came to us, but  she is now halter broke and friendly. Tally is available for adoption to an experienced person who can continue with her training.
