Update 09/11/23: Princess is now at HH Stables for a training assessment. She recently went on a trail ride at Sand Dunes State Park and did very well! She is a little rusty as it has been some time since she has been ridden, but she has the basics and will now be getting some refresher work done. Princess is a percheron and is a big mare. She was foaled in approximately 2005-2006.

Some photos of recently adopted Anna Mae in her new home. Charlie says, “she is a hoot and we are having a lot of fun with her!” (Anna Mae is an 18-year-old mare we took in this spring when her owner passed away). Anna Mae especially loves drinking out of the fountain!

Shotzie is a grade paint mare who came to MHARF in June 2023 because her owner could no longer give her the care she needs. She is a nice mare with good ground manners. She was foaled in approximately 2011 and stands around 15hh. She has now had all of her vaccinations, coggins test, dental work, and farrier care. She is broke to ride and is currently at HH Stable for a training assessment and refresher.
