King (Adopted)

King is a Tennessee Walking Horse gelding who was foaled in 1996. He came to MHARF in May 2023 because his owner passed away. King is an energetic gelding who certainly doesn’t act like he is 27 years old. He would do best with other geldings because he does get a little protective of mares in a herd. King has good manners and is broke to ride, but we have not had an assessment on him yet as far as training level.

Lisa (Adopted)

Lisa is a young pony mare (foaled in approximately 2014, standing 10hh) whom we were called out to pick up after she had been found running loose along a busy county road in early May 2023. She had been chased by cars and on foot by several people, finally being roped and dragged into a holding pen. When we arrived, we found a very terrified pony who had no intention of letting someone catch her again.
