Sky, Cinnamon, and Charlie are enjoying plenty of attention from the lesson kids at the ranch!

Thank you to Paradise Ranch for the photos of some of the adopted MHARF horses who are lucky enough to call this beautiful farm home! Cinnamon the mini mare was adopted in 2020 after she came to us as an owner surrender. She had been turned out with a mini stallion prior to coming in, so we did a preg check and, sure enough, she was in foal. Charlie was born in 2021.

Misty (Adopted)

Misty is a Tennessee Walking Horse mare who was foaled in approximately 2001 and who stands 14.1hh. She came in from a January 2023 St. Louis County humane case. Misty has had all of her intake veterinary work done and is currently with trainer Sarah Helms for a training assessment. Sarah says Misty is a nice mare with a good temperament. Misty does gait and she is suitable for an intermediate rider.

Sammy (Adopted)

Sammy is an Arabian/QH mare who came to us from a January 2023 St. Louis County humane case.  She was foaled in approximately 2001. Sammy stands 14.3hh. She had her veterinary work done at intake, including much-needed dental care which has now allowed her to eat properly and gain weight.  Sammy went to HH Stables in late April for a training assessment and some refresher training. They report that Sammy is a little nervous being away from the other horses,

Sweet Pea (Adopted)

Sweet Pea is a quarter horse/Arabian mare who was foaled in approximately 2003. She came to us from a January 2023 St. Louis County humane case.  Sweet Pea stands 14.1hh. She had all of her veterinary work done at intake, including dental care. She had several very sharp, overgrown teeth which had caused bad ulceration in her mouth. After her dental care she was able to eat much more comfortably and gained weight quickly.
