Maui is an American Saddlebred mare (registered name Hawaii Phive-O) who was foaled in 2005 and who stands approximately 16hh. She originally came to MHARF in a 2011 humane case. She competed in our 2013 Trainer’s Challenge with trainer Jenna Jarboe . Maui has recently come back to MHARF because her adopter could no longer keep her. Maui has had quite a bit of training, but she is an energetic and “hotter” horse and requires a knowledgeable and confident intermediate rider and up.

Raspberry is an orphan Boer goat who was originally rescued when she was just a few days old by Jennifer, who knew she was sick and needed help even though she wouldn’t be able to keep her. Jennifer took her to the vet where she was diagnosed with pneumonia. Knowing that this baby goat needed to go to someone with “goat experience”, Jennifer contacted us for help.

Wilbur is a POA gelding who was foaled in approximately 2012 and stands approximately 14.2hh. He is broke to ride but it has been over a year since he has been ridden–so will need some refresher work. Should be suitable for advanced beginner working w/trainer or intermediate rider. Wilbur is a smart horse and will benefit from regular work. He has a lot of potential.
