Lady Flash (Lady Flash has been Adopted!)

Lady Flash is a Belgian mare who was foaled in approximately 2004 and stands approximately 17hh. She originally came to MHARF several years ago and was adopted but is now being returned because her adopter is moving out of state and cannot take her along. She is a nice mare who is broke to ride (for a confident, experienced rider) but has done mostly arena work and does not have much trail experience at this time.

Irene (In Rehabilitation Program)

Irene is a 2003 standard donkey jennet who came to MHARF during a June 2017 Pine County humane case. This case involved 6 other donkeys, all of whom had not had any veterinary or farrier care for many years.  Because of this neglect, several had hooves so long they could barely walk. Irene was one of those in the worst condition and did have very long and misshapen hooves that have required specialized farrier care.

Bravada (ADOPTED!)

Bravada is a Saddlebred mare who came to MHARF in December 2017. She was pregnant at intake and gave birth to a healthy chestnut colt on 05/23/18 who we named Figaro. Figaro has now been weaned and Bravada is available to go to a new home. She is a nice mannered mare and we believe she had been stared under saddle before–but we have not had a training assessment done yet.

This case involved 6 other donkeys, all of whom had not had any veterinary or farrier care for many years.  Because of this neglect, several had hooves so long they could barely walk.
