Fiona (Fiona has been ADOPTED)
Fiona is a B-Size mini mare who was foaled in 2013. She originally came to MHARF in a 2015 humane case. As a yearling she had been tied with a makeshift halter made of baling twine and tied to a post. As she grew, the twine became tighter and tighter, eventually burrowing into her skin and becoming infected. Luckily, she was eventually able to break away from the post she was tied to and escape the property. With the help of local law enforcement, we were then able to get all of the equines off of the property. Fiona was adopted and shown for 4H but the kids have grown up and her previous home would like to see her go somewhere she will get the attention she deserves!
Summit Dazzling Dolly

Dolly (reg. with AMHR as Summit Dazzling Dolly) is a 34″ pinto mini mare who was foaled in 2007. Dolly was adopted but is now looking for a new home. She does have in-hand show experience. Dolly is bonded to another mini mare we have available, Fiona, and we would like to see them find a home together if possible.
Romeo (Romeo has been Adopted!)
Update 12/29/18: Romeo has been ADOPTED into a new home and is no longer available.
Romeo is a beautiful dark bay grade Arabian gelding who stands 15hh and was foaled in approximately 2008. He came to MHARF in January 2018 with a large group of horses from a case. He has been in training with Jamie Moeller of Lanoux Stables. He is very well trained and has a lot of “buttons” and knows a lot of cues. Because of his careful training, he needs a rider who is also knowledgeable about those cues. He is suitable for an advanced beginner (preferably working with trainer) or intermediate rider. He has lovely, smooth gaits and is an extremely nice horse!

Goldie
Goldie is a very nice pony mare who was foaled in approximately 2000 and stands approximately 11.2hh. She originally came to MHARF from a humane case many years ago and was adopted and returned twice (through no fault of her own, mainly because of changing circumstances for adopter, kids outgrowing her). She has had excellent care and handling. She has been used for many pony rides and pony “photo shoots” and is very used to kids and commotion. She is excellent with children and is very quiet, gentle and sweet. As we recommend for all ponies and minis, she shouldn’t be out on lush pasture in the spring and summer. Ponies and minis are much more susceptible to laminitis than other breeds and their access to grass should be limited. Goldie is rideable, but we would like to find her a home where she will be a companion or a very light riding pony for an appropriate sized rider.
